Speculative Project

Designed the set and costumes for a speculative performance the opera Cunning Little Vixen 

The Design is based on the natrual v. the synthetic. I played with the naturalistic imagery of trees in a forest and contrasted it with synthetic materials, such as latex. This was to explore the interesting relationship between two opposite concepts and the relationship that exists between them. Brought together with the image of brain neurons, a image of a natural object only discovered through the use of a synthetic one.
